Yummy Strawberry Citrus Punch
For my daughter's birthday party I always make punch. I always do a version of sherbet punch. Since my daughter's birthday was a couple of months ago, I didn't want to do the same punch. I came up with something new, and I have to say............it was a HUGE hit. I made two batches and all of it was gone.
1 large packet of Jello Strawberry Jello (8 servings)
1 cup of boiling water
3 cups of cold water
1 two liter of lemon lime soda (I use Squirt)
1 large container pineapple juice ( I made pineapple ice cubs the night before with some of the juice and added it to the punch)
fruit for garnish
In a heat safe punch bowl combine 1 boiling water with jello and mix, add cold water and combine. Add pineapple juice and soda, garnish with fruit if you wish. I did slices of strawberries, and chunks of fresh pineapple.

And there wasn't a drop left after the party. I know because I scooped up the last drop myself.
Okay, I really liked the punch. First, it was not too sweet and the Squirt added a nice touch of bubbles and flavor. The best part is when you finish drinking your glassful, you have strawberries and pineapples to eat! Yummy!
